The Road to Refocusing

I help clients feel truly seen, without judgment or pressure. My approach blends curiosity, respect, cultural humility, and evidence-based methods to support personal growth.

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced to your needs—helping you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected in life and relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

to explore thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be contributing to distress.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

skills to support emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication

Narrative Therapy

to help clients separate themselves from problems and reconnect with preferred stories about who they are.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work

to explore inner parts with compassion and curiosity

My Approach to Therapy

I am an integrative therapist intern seeing clients under the supervision of an AAMFT-approved supervisor.

My approach draws from several evidence-based models.

What You Can Expect

In sessions, you can expect a space that is thoughtful, warm, and honest.

I aim to create an environment where it’s safe to slow down, ask hard questions, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface.

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be a place to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and others.

Who I Work With

I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration.

I’m especially attentive to clients who feel stuck, disconnected, or pulled in multiple directions and are looking for clarity and steadiness.

At Refocus Therapy, my hope is to support you in navigating stress, understanding emotions, strengthening relationships, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.
